The Great African Culture Network.
The Great African Cultural Network Inc. (GACNInc), founded in 2013 and based in Edmonton, Canada, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting equality and empowering Black-led organizations and businesses in Western Canada. Through our programs, we focus on building organizational capacity and aligning practices with the principles of Black equity. Additionally, the Black Equity Collective (BEC) works to transform the relationship between philanthropy and Black-led organizations by promoting equity and ensuring Black communities are active participants in shaping philanthropic efforts. At GACNInc, we are committed to creating a more equitable future for Black-led initiatives.
Our Services
At GACInc, we offer a comprehensive range of services designed to empower and support Black-led initiatives. Through capacity-building training, we equip individuals and organizations with the knowledge and skills to grow and succeed. Our mentorship programs connect emerging leaders with experienced professionals, fostering guidance, growth, and sustainable leadership. We provide networking opportunities to build meaningful relationships and collaborations that fuel collective progress. Our commitment is to creating a more equitable and supportive environment where Black-led initiatives can thrive, fostering long-term impact and positive change.
Leadership Development Programs
Provide specialized training and workshops to nurture leadership skills among Black entrepreneurs and community leaders, empowering them to take on influential roles within their organizations and sectors.
Professional Development Workshops
Host workshops on skills development, including financial literacy, technology, negotiation, and public speaking, to enhance the professional growth of Black individuals in various sectors.
Cultural Exchange Programs
Organize cultural exchange initiatives that promote understanding, collaboration, and shared learning between Black-led organizations and other communities.
